Costal Construction began work on the 142 residence emerald glass tower in March 2004. Completion is scheduled for winter 2005. According to Wachovia Senior Vice President Albert Fils who facilitated the transaction, the loan was secured in a timely manner considering the complexity of the loan structure. "Wachovia took a special interest in working with SunVest, because as developers, they put buyersae™ interests and lifestyle needs at the top of their priority list. As a result, Emerald at Brickell offers the quality and variety of finishes and amenities you would expect to find in a much larger development," Fils noted. Located just off Brickell Bay Drive in the heart of Miamiae™s financial district, Emerald at Brickell offers upscale amenities including The Sky Club, which overlooks the bay and city skyline and features a rooftop infinity-edge pool and spa, and a pro-grade fitness center. There is a dog walk, individual wine cellars and cigar humidors, and a garden level private cafa© with outdoor seating, feng shui meditation gardens. A select few residences are still available. One, two and three-bedroom residences and penthouses are still available from $379,000 to over $1 million. Emerald at Brickell is being developed by Hollywood-based SunVest, a joint venture.
